Just a note that Niles will be out of town for the next couple of weeks (visiting his mom). I will also be on vacation (visiting my mom) Yes, we library people need our moms. That's just the way it is. Moms rock! In fact, I wrote a poem about how my mother is like an onion. Perhaps I need to dig that up and post it. Hmmm.
Anyway, I intend to check here anyway due to my infinite curiosity and interest in your writings. However, there may not be a much response, so be patient please and thanks. And naturally, don't post anything that My mom can't read. I might show her this page so she knows what I do for a paycheck (insert smile emoticon displaying wit here)

Hi All, This is a repost in my attempt to put this kind of information in the same place for easier reading:
That's a very good question. I think you should get an ticket for each poem, short story, essay, creative writing you submit. Now, that doesn't mean, I'm giving you a ticket if you write "Rose are Red, Violets are blue" over and over! Try to contribute some writings that are meaningful to you and that you want to share with others. Remember that this is a public wiki. Anyone can see what we are writing. You wouldn't want to write anything that your parents should not see. In fact, Niles and I have the awesome ability and responsibility to edit anything that would we wouldn't want our mothers to see. So, to sum up, you get a ticket for each piece of quality writing that you submit. Look at what your fellow ETC-ers are writing and see what you can come up with. Last week was Teen Read Week and the theme was LOL at the Library. Perhaps you could write something funny. I would be interested to read it.

Elwin gets married? Do you remember the movie Princess Bride. You need a clergy like the guy who says "mawwage". Ok, maybe I just got stuck in the 80's.
