nice work, michael. i wonder if i can be a librarian for a moment and suggest reading "the wasteland" by ts eliot if you haven't already and "american gods" by neil gaiman. although, the gaiman book probably has nothing in common thematically (i haven't read it myself) but it's cool that the names are the same.

Hey Niles sorry about missing the Rockband thing I had an invitation I couldn't refuse come up sorry. Besides the only song I wanted to play wasn't there and Luke wasn't there to give me a challenge at chess (I only almost lost to Kathrine because I was distracted)

Niles you give me too much credit that and I wrote it for a teen magazine but here it is
David Bowie has been around forever it seems from the psychedelic sound of The man who sold the world to the hard rocking Rock and Roll suicide. Sadly most young people have no idea who this legend of music is with the exception of the three songs you hear on the radio Changes, Watch that Man, and Fame. This is a truly pitiful selection of this man's musical skills. My personal favorites are Young American and Rebel, Rebel but he is really worth looking into if you like a touch of weird in your music. Don't look for a specific style of music with Bowie though he is all over the map so to speak. If you purchase CD's I would advise either the Rise and fall of Ziggy Stardust or Bowie at the Beeb. If download music try The man who sold the World, The Width of a Circle, Sons of the Silent age, and Young American then decide David Bowie Hero or has been.

the only broken bones i've ever had came from skateboarding. i broke my toe trying to do a boardslide on a picnic table and i broke my wrist trying to do a 5-0 grind on a curb.

i like how the last four stanzas repeat the first line (except the fourth, but i like the variation of the theme) as odd as it sounds i think this may be my favorite poem you've posted.
